Arabica Roasters held a private coffee tasting event at this year's Hilton Beijing Food & Wine Experience. The event theme was "Treasure Island Coffee Tasting" and explored the myriad flavors of Arabica Roasters' Green Luxury Coffees grown in some of the world's most exotic tropical islands.
Coffees for this event included a selection of the world's most expensive coffees: Hawaiian Kona Extra Fancy, Jamaican Blue Mountain RSW Esates #1, and Indonesian Sumatra Gayo Kopi Luwak.
The coffee tasting and desert pairing was followed by a presentation of a "Certificate of Appreciation" from Lei Chen Wong, Executive Director of t...

July 15, 2013: High above our planet in the realm of satellites and space stations, the familiar rules of Earth do not apply. The midday sky is as black as night. There is no up and no down. Dropped objects do not fall, and hot air does not rise.
Of all the strange things that happen up there, however, it is possible that the strangest happens to coffee.
Physics professor Mark Weislogel of Portland State University has given a lot of thought to coffee (and other fluids) in space, and he describes what happens:
"For starters," he says, "it would be a chore just getting the coffee into the cup. Absent t...

Arabica Roasters' General Manager Stuart Eunson and I had the pleasure of dropping by BOCADO last Friday, narrowly avoiding the massive rainstorm that rocked Shanghai for several hours and turned streets into canals throughout the city. Arabica Roasters has been busy in April! In the beginning of the month, we took part in the super-luxury event Hainan Rendezvous and the Sinan Cup the following week. The month was rounded out by a trip to Shenzhen, where Arabica Roasters provided coffee for a meeting of business leaders from the Shenzhen Hotel Association.
For the fourth year in a row, Arabica Roasters has attended Hainan Rendezvous, held in the beautiful island province of Sanya. The following week, Arabica Roasters was...
Welcome!
Notice anything different around here? Yeah, we're pretty excited about it!
We'll be adding lots of new stuff to the blog, but I just wanted to point out a few things right away:

• Check out the Weibo for...
