The original link:Drink Coffee for Longevity? If you have trouble getting motivated in the morning without copious amounts of coffee, you’re far from alone. 转载于 By Daniella Emanuel, CNN Coffee's health history: Where do we stand now?-It's thumbs up today, but the news on coffee has not always been positive. Take a look at the arguments for and against coffee through the centuries. 1500s headline: Coffee makes you frisky-Legend has it that coffee was discovered by Kaldi, an Ethiopian goatherd, after he caught his suddenly frisky goats eating glossy green leaves and red berries and then tried it for himself. 1500s headline: Coffee leads to illegal sex- But it was the Arabs that started coffeehouses, and that's where coffee got its first black mark. Patrons of coffeehouses were said to be more likely to gamble and engage in "criminally unorthodox sexual situations," according to author Ralph Hattox. 1...

    Tag:Healthy Living

转载于By Daniella Emanuel, CNN (CNN)Greater consumption of coffee could lead to a longer life, according to two new studies published Monday. The findings have resurfaced the centuries-old conversation on coffee's health effects. The second study was more novel, as it focused on nonwhite populations. After surveying over 185,000 African-Americans, Native Americans, Hawaiians, Japanese-Americans, Latinos and whites, the researchers found that coffee increases longevity across various races.   People who drank two to four cups a day had an 18% lo...
