Detail Information
The Association of Agro ecological Producers – Asocorredor, was founded in September 2003 to develop a project for the conservation of the environment and biodiversity in the northern part of Valle del Cauca Department. In the area of influence there are two natural reserves: the mountain system “Paraguas” and National Natural Park “Tatama”. Twenty-four (24) members of this Association are certified Fair Trade and Organic – they are small producers who depend directly on coffee and labor is mainly provided by the coffee grower and his family. They also have other crops for their own consumption: plantain, corn, beans, bananas amongst others.
