Coffee And Culture-Cynthia Sayer & Her Joyride Band 2015 

Cynthia Sayer, one of the top jazz banjo players in the world today, and her all-star quintet “The Joyride Band” tour six cities, bringing the swinging sounds of the Great Gatsby Jazz Age to countless audiences in China for the first time!

Cynthia Sayer has performed in concert halls and festivals worldwide, including in New York City's Carnegie Hall, the Metropolitan Opera, at the White House for U.S. Presidents, with The New York Philharmonic, and on numerous film and TV soundtracks including most recently Woody Allen’s 2014 release “Magic in the Moonlight.” She is inducted in the American Banjo Hall Of Fame.

“The Joyride Band” includes accordionist Charlie Giordano who plays in Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band; drummer Larry Eagle who played on R&B/Soul artist John Legend’s Grammy-winning albums and has appeared in major American network TV shows including The Tonight Show, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and Good Morning America; Italy’s renowned string bassist Mauro Battisti; and violin and clarinet musician Dennis Lichtman, who recently has been featured in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
