Hainan Rendezvous

 

At last month’s Hainan Rendezvous, Arabica Roasters worked with Italian boatyard SOLARIS, maker of high-end custom-made sailing yachts.  Their gorgeous ships are a perfect meeting of speed and comfort, built for competition as well cruising with some friends aboard.  Including our friends at SOLARIS, over 130 yachts from over 20 nations were in attendance at this year's events.

 

We provided coffee for guests to enjoy as they perused the event’s countless luxuries, while promoting Arabica Roasters’ Green Luxury Coffee—high-end lifestyle that also cares for the environment.

Arabica Roasters will be returning to the Sanya Yalong Bay Yacht Club (www.syyc.com) to provide coffee for competitors and guests at the Sinan Cup (www.sinancup.com ) to enjoy this April.  SOLARIS will also be attending the Sinan Cup, but this time as a participant in the race, so we raise our cups to them!  Good luck!

The race events are split into 2 main parts: the on-shore race, which takes place near Sanya’s Yalong Bay Yacht Club, and the off-shore race, which charters a route to the nearby Xisha Islands.

The Jane Goodall Coffee Series and The Green Luxury Coffee Project

 

Arabica Roasters will be providing coffee from our Jane Goodall Coffee Series, freshly-roasted in Beijing.  Guests can enjoy freshly ground and brewed coffee in the main event area and may even have a chance to enjoy a cocktail made from our specialty coffee blends!

 

The Jane Goodall Coffee Series are coffee products that have been grown using sustainable development techniques and fairly-traded to ensure the health and growth of the farmer, the consumer, and the environment are all cared for.  These tenents are also represented in the Green Luxury Coffee Products, which represents the concepts of enjoying the world’s finest coffees and supporting environmental protection initiatives.  10% of revenue from these coffee products will be donated to the Jane Goodall Institute China and its children’s education programs.
